FAQs

Q. What hashtag should I use for Feast and Tweet?

A. Use #Feasts so that we can track activity for the event, and respond as needed.

Q. If I invite friends to join me for Feast and Tweet, do they all need Twitter accounts?

A. Not at all. However, if  all your participants don’t have a laptop or mobile device, you may want to designate one person to post the group’s comments on Twitter during the event.

Q. Do I have to have a Twitter account to participate?

A. Having an active Twitter is preferred, but not required. When Feast and Tweet goes “live” you also have the option of posting your experience on FaceBook (you can find me on the deVine Table wall).

Q. Do I have to be a blogger to participate?

A. No! However, if you are a blogger we encourage you to include your URL when you register so that we can give you a shout out. We also wouldn’t mind if you want to encourage your readers to join the fun!

Q. What if I’m not an expert at tasting and describing wine?

A. You’re not alone! That’s why we’ve provided a rating scale that puts experienced and inexperienced wine tasters on common ground and speaking the same language during Feast and Tweet.
